2nd oil thread

I've been reading a lot and it seems it doesn't really matter what kind of oil you get if you change it every 3k. Same w/filters. What do you all think about just going to a Jiffy lube and getting shelf oil everytime w/shelf oil filters? and changing between 2.5k and 3k. Would that be alright?

ya go to a jiffy lube if you, want your oil level over filled, your oil drain plug loose, and your oil filler cap half way on. Dont be lazy go buy some Mobil 1, and a filter and change it yourself.

guys, I think he has a lancer not a evo.

Anyways, you could learn to do it yourself.
I am sure lancer is no harder than an evo.
It will cost you a lot less and you can make sure it's done right..although there really isnt a way to do it incorrectly.
