Just get a magnaflow muffler and cut off the stock muffler. It will sound better and you only have to spend a little more at a local muffler because you will need them to install also.

its not as loud as i thought it would be. It has a low sound. sounds good to me. The cars here sound louder than my car.

Again, the first two are useless as he does not drive an evo, he drives a lancer! The last one is nice but hellishly expensive for a muffler that won't yield any gains on an NA lancer.

this was in lancer general area with all other exhaust questions, now its in newbie faq section where evo owners can tell me whats best for their "similar" cars lol

So much for reading comprehension, huh? LOL

My comments were from a quality/sound perspective and not specific application. One thing I'd consider, since you're on the East Coast, I'll say you're better off with a specific application for your Lancer rather than a cut-n-weld job because those welds will rust pretty quickly with some winter driving.
