the best one is stock with a drop in. Its good for 400hp. If you want an intake anyway just make sure you get tuned for it

get a part that will help u, dont waste your money on an intake......why does everyone want to put an intake on their Evo?

Do you have any other mods? Please dont put an intake as your first.

Intake is only good if your getting a tune or mail flash with it. I don't suggest it from my experience.

after how many mods would you consider putting in an intake as a smart idea?

for the love of all that is good in this world, search one of the 457455 threads about this. This has been beaten to death, resurrected, then beaten back to death again

do you can hear the stock DV...duh

well, you dont really need an intake. go spend money on something that'll actually give power like a catback or a turboback exhaust.

but when i think about it...i think it's better to buy an intake than a BOV

Y is it better in ur opinion to get an intake over a bov?? Or is that juss sarcasim?? But yea forget bout the intake. These arn't honda's where u would make that ur first mod. Def go for turbo exhaust. Bigger piping. All that hoopla if I'm correct. I'm a newb tryin to sound smart so I can learn here lol.

I installed an apexi cone filter on my car...Got a really good deal on it so figured y not get it...Hasnt hurt my performance as far as I can tell but then again I didnt not dyno the car before and after or take it to the track...It does make the stock dv a lot louder as well as your turbo. I have had mine installed for over a month with no tune and have not experinced and idle or any other types of issues. LIke a lot of the other members say its not really necessary until later on, but I got a really good deal on mine so I jumped on it...
