Does it just pop out, or does it require taking the center console up? I found the links for the removal, but I noticed it was for the 5sp. The shift boots look different from the pictures, so I was hoping it might just pop out, but I didn't want to force it. Thanks in advance!

 

It's stapled on the inside of center console.
