payments are usually low..insurance is what goes up...my car payments are $310 a month

it really just depends on ur credit score and how much you put down...also if ur over 25 than the insurance shouldnt go up too much, but it might not even change much compared to ur other car since your coming from a srt-4, unlike for someone who comes from a cheap non expensive car to insure going to a sports car

i think the evo is the most expensive car to ensure. but, since it's not your only car, then it'll be cheaper....i think the insurance on your srt4 might drop a little to since you have more than one car. new payments are like 300+/month. so a 03-04 might set you around 200-300ish (depend how much you get it for).

Well you must not be too young if you have a vette and an srt-4 for 250 month. Insurance rates are HIGHLY dependent on area and age. I live in a fairly high crime area, sacramento, for automobiles. Plus all the extra people mean more traffic, acccidents, etc.. This bumps my insurance up a lil.

In the end i pay $139/month (on a monthly plan not yearly or half yearly) at the age of 26 and a clean driving record. Your insurance obviously will vary.

Always gives me the shivers when a young guy buys a car that could turn him into the "straw through a telephone pole". Its nothing against anyone personally nor judging anyone, I've just seen too many kids with too little experience get pulled from cars with the jaws of life.

One of my neighbors bought their son an sti for his 17th birthday. He totalled it before getting out of our housing development with it. Launched it right off the road into the woods on his way out . The car was 2 hours old and already on the way to the junkyard!

Sorry, had to interject that because.. well its a good story

I'm guessing your insurance is in your parents name, which is why its relatively cheap. If it was in your name 200-400 a month would be a good guess if you have no points. I paid 1300 per year on my sti.. but I was 29 at the time with no points.

Well just don't get too confident about diving ability. The nice thing about RWD and FWD is you can feel out their limits pretty quickly. The caution signs for me at least on the AWD car are a lot more subtle than the other two combined.

If you can take this car to a track thats where I'd recommend learning its limits

I pay 386.00 for 48 months, they gave me an option to pay 330.00 for 60 months but thats too long.

Your car is nice Keith, and you've done so much to it. It's well known you can say!

But good luck with your research and finding a suitable choice. I'm sure you'll come out happy.

PEACE!
