i have not owned any cars yet but now that i have saved enough moey up i can get a evo or a audi s4 6mt and by the way im 23...i like the audi because of its tranny is unbelievably smooth as silk but i like the power of the evo i know this will be bias of the s4 because this is a evo site but judgment is usually half and half on forums thanks guys...

 

EDIT^^^I MEANT 2006 EVO i know they stopped production in august

 

evo FTW. Easier to mod. Cheaper to repair.

get the evo 9...exhaust and a mbc and your already running 12s...imho.. just do a search. you dont need people telling you what to get... test drive both and see which one you like the best..

Are you planning on modding your car if you purchase either evo or s4?
There are so many mods available for evos due to its turbo engine and rally heritage.
Without any question S4 is a nice car.
Providing awd set up with decent v8 power.
Am I assuming correctly you are talking about '03 or newer one and not the twin turbo v6?
Personally, I wouldn't choose audis over evos due to audi's weight, added cost of repair, lack of available mods, etc.
Well, maybe rs4.

Have you driven the cars? If you have, buy whichever you like best. If you haven't, then do so and then buy whichever you like best.

I don't know how anyone can tell you which car to buy, especially when no one knows anything about its intended use and your tastes and preferences.

 

yea the rs4 is also a option but i dont lik ethe seats in the rs4 i like the s4's seats because you can get cloth ones w/ alcatra or however you spell it...like i said i have to split the car with my parents on the s4 and it will only cost me 400 a month and the evo will cost me close to 620 and 520 on a rs4...im not sure the rs4 looks like a sweet deal now and on the evo i have to pay around 100 a month for insurance on the evo also and nothing on the s4 or rs4.....this sucks they pull this **** right when im at the dealer... i knew i should of sat in the s4...damnit

 

Wait....so basically your parents want you to buy the S4??? And if you get the S4 then u have to share it???

And if you get the evo u have to pay more for it yoursef, but dont have to share it???

Getting pretty confusing there bud. I say buy whatever u can without ur parents help. They will always hold it over you if they help you pay for it. And sharing cars with anyone sucks, especially if you want to mod it.

 

It all depends on what you are going to use the car for... for a daily driver i would pick the s4 but for fun i would pick the evo...

 

i want something for school and fun also but yea pulling up to school in a 70k car gets you a girl alot faster than a big wing car but then agian i want the evo and its not like i dont know anything about it but yea i have test drove a se but no rs4 or s4 to test drive around here...

no girl dumb enough to get with someone because of a car is going to be impressed by an Audi S4 or RS4. To them it looks just like any other A4 - a car that someone's mom would drive.
