Yes I am the new kid, go ahead and throw paper airplanes at me and ask me to stand up and tell the class a little bit about myself. Well I do not own an evo but I hope to once I graduate college. I definately consider myself an enthusiast and would like to think I know something about the Evolution. Not the theory of...the car. I currently drive an 01 VW Jetta 1.8T modded. Chip, Intake, Exhaust, Diverter Valve, Thats it, I see nothing else really worth buying cuz I reached the state of enlightenment. The car just isnt fast. So I am saving my money for beer and women since I am in college at Penn State for Plastics Engineering. Purchasing an evo is at the top of my list upon graduating. I joined the forum when I heard about it in another forum. So far looks good. I am a member in several other EVO forums under the same username.

 

welcome...i too saw the light when I drove a IX....hahah I bet you had a smile from ear to ear just like I did. Just learn as much as possible. I dont know when you are planning to graduate, but you might run into problems finding a new one come summertime 07. There wont be many left since its out of production now and personally wouldnt want a used one, but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do.
