max boost
OK flame me if you must , i tried the search , whats the max boost a stock 9 turbo can run? ,waiting for a tune
, mods ,warrt stage 1, EBC, BR ,intercooler , BR upper and lower IC piping, 10.5 hot, cusco intake, coolingmist progressive meth injection do i need to get a upgrated wastegate acuatuer to run higher boost or is that a waste of money?? waiting for AL to come back out to BR, just want to be ready , thanks, forgot street car , its a 2nd car so i dont drive it all the time

Have you already installed all of the upgrades, including the EBC and meth injection. Were you tuned for the Meth? Or are you still running the factory ECU settings.

Plus doing that would be putting the turbo WAY out of the efficiency range. Efficiency would be in the high 60% range at best :P. This does even take into account the engine Volumetric efficiency btw
A more effecient engine requires more air thus more taper less boost the stocker can provide.

i have all parts installed , but not using the meth , as stated waiting for a tune , warrt stage 1 , BR 3inch , turbo back , dyno flash mail in, mbc , asking would a upgraded wastegate acuater help me get more boost out of the stock 9 turbo , thanks everyone

somebody get this man a bier!
i don't think that an upgraded waste gate accuator will help you to pull more boost out of the stock turbo. summarizing what roadspike said, you basically need to get a larger tubo to handle the greater boost you are wanting to achieve at this point. the stock turbo is a great turbo but it won't operate at peak efficiency and you will eventually just burn it out as well as cause huge power losses on your car just by trying to push the crap out of the little stock turbo. go bigger dude.
The stock turbo pushes about 26lbs efficiently, with race gas. After that, all the dyno's Iv seen show power loss. With a normal tune, 21psi, with meth, 23-24 psi. The head will hold about 26lbs until you get new head studs. I don't see a need for a new wastegate actuator, my stock wastegate actuator will hold 1.7 kg/cm^2 with no trouble.

The VE on this graph isn't very realistic but oh well

EDIT: Also I'd like to note that the air requirements goes right off the chart at about 6500rpm meaning the compressor is running out of breath at 5000+rpm.
