soon to be evo owner, got questions

Hey, I've been searching through the forums to past few days deciding which Evo trim to purchase and have a few questions I haven't been able to find. I currently have a 2gen GS-T with basically all bolt-ons minus cams, but my baby is reaching 100K miles and it's time to upgrade. I'm most likely getting an Evo 9 from my research. In my GS-T, I have dsmlink installed for tuning and see that many users have have their ecu's flashed. Are there any programs available for the Evo 9 with dsmlink like controls around the same price (600.00)? How hard is it to mod compared to the Eclipse? I've done all mods myself which makes it harder to get rid of. Thanks in advance for any guidance. I'm pumped about getting one, but I want to make sure I don't kick myself for getting rid of the eclipse. I'm holding out on the test drive because I'll most likely buy it then before finishing my research.

The 9 does have some ECU options, but for 600$...I haven't found one yet. A good tune, or mail in, can be done with the stock ECU though. Evo's are mod happy cars, the more you give the 4g63 the better.

Try asking questions and looking through the tuning/ecu section on this forum. That'll yield a lot more answers to your ECU questions.

doesn't the flash tune also set the a/f ratio? If so, if I buy mods, wouldn't it need to get re-flashed when I upgrade? I'm guessing I could get a SAFC unit for minor adjustments, but want the control I had with dsmlink. Thanks for the response.
