you do NOT know how to drive your car........don't kid yourself. You have no idea what you are doing or what others have tried to tell you.......like someone else just said...sell it....you'ld be better off with a geo or something simple/stupid.

look up buschur or ams.... both great kits... but if your goin to do exhaust..
I would go with the whole tbe with a cat delete.. not a cat back.. your lookin to gain much with that...

+ u think u can drive but ur only 17, not flame im 20. Go to the track and run ur Evo first before modding. A driver mod is if u can actually drive the car to the extent it can put out. GO to the dragstrip and if u run low 13's then u should mod.
If u do mod -
Go with a tbe ( turbo back exhaust with your choice of a testpipe or if the cops are a$$es around where u live then a highflow cat). There are so many tbe from an e-bay $450 to a nice $1g HKS. But u dont need a high price one to have the same performance as the e-bay one. There also sound quality involve in purchasing a tbe cause a loud one can get u in trouble with the law.
Second, no intakes or BOV ( blow off values to make that pshhh sound). If you decide to do that, you MUST have a custom tune on your evo by a known Vendor or shop ( like ams, trubotrix, dynoflash, buschur, and etc). You put it on with out a tune, your car will run funny. A drop in k&N filter is recommended
Third, the stock boost lvls of a Evo is around 20.5 psi tapering to 16.5. Get an MBC (mechanical boost controller) so you can set it to your desired boost lvl whihc is gonna be around 21 depeding on the tune.
Fourth, with a tune or mail in tune. You jus send ur ECU out to get it tuned. Like the warrtalon package thats the bang for the buck modification. You can get it tuned to provide more hp and stuff. Tuning is very important for the evo.
Fifth, Look bro im like 20. It took me a while to understand an evo. Im gettin one sometime soon but i researched about the evo for quite sometime. I don't kno the car inside and out but i kno jus enough that i deserve to have one and have the correct knowledge to modify the car to a safe and well put out plateau.
You don't kno much. So im telling u for ur own good. Research and understand the car before modding. Also remember to go to the dragstrip to find out if u can actually run the car. Because pointless to get mods when u cant even push the car right. I did the search for u right here and best of luck.
