You've got to be kidding me.... I'm sorry but you'd hope somebody buying an Evo would have at least basic auto knowledge and that's about as basic as you can get...

 

OK, if you give up your cellphone, computer, iPod and girlfriend since you don't have knowledge of their inner-workings and how things should look inside.

 

Bad analogy... a "loose" screw doesn't have 1/1000000 the detail/complication of an electronic device. A monkey can figure out what to do with a screw...after all, there are only 2 things it can do.

 

Even with 0 auto knowledge, it would take all of 15 seconds to figure out what the bolt is attached to and decide that it's fine.

 

Cut the guy some slack. At least he asked before trying to tighten it all the way down with all his strength....could have been a mess

 

No, if he would have tried to tighten it, he may have actually noticed why the screw was there and what it does. Instead, he just freaked out and didn't bother even inspecting it.
