New Evo Owner Identification Question
Well after 3 years of looking at these cars as I drove past the dealer every day, I finally stopped in and drove one. As I'm sure has happened to others, there was nothing that was going to keep that car on the lot after that. To be honest it scared the hell out of me at first. The only other "sports" car I'd owned before this was a nice little Mazda 6s a couple of years ago, which I thought at the time was pretty quick. So what if my wife threw stuff at me when I got home, a quick drive and she had the stupid grin too, problem fixed.
But my problem is I'm having trouble identifying it. Before I went to the dealer, I had spent countless hours on the Mitsu site building the car I wanted, and was kinda irked they didn't make an MR in black. So imagine my surprise when I called a dealer and he told me he had a black one (initially figured he'd run over and glue an MR badge on a standard IX). Then some guy at the dealer walking around, told me it was an MR Special Edition. I initially figured he was mixing up the 2 models, so I jumped on a computer at the dealer and searched and found an article Black Knight , so at least it existed somewhere else.
My question to all you knowledgable people is, what is it? A MR? A SE? Both?!
Sorry I didn't post pictures yet, I got it home, put it in the garage, then had a foot of snow lock my garage door shut. I will soon though, promise.

It is both... Your car probably has the mr and the SE badging on it correct??... Its both... The Se just have a little different exterior and interior look then the normal MRs thats all... The exterior has a different lip and the interior has red stitching... I think there is more but I forget... It is all cosmetics...

Thanks for the replies! It actually only has the MR badge on it. It does have the same set of appearance items as the SE, stitching, diamond black wheels, etc.
Now if I can only get the manual out of my dealer i'll be all set!
