I have finally arrived to the dark side.

Some of you guys may remember a couple of months ago I posted about selling my Subaru and getting a IX. Well, the deed is finally done. I made an absolute killing on selling the WRX which made buying the EVO that much easier. Heres the story of the purchase this week. Get up Monday morning pre-approved from the bank and ready to go shopping. Travel to nearest friendly Mitsu dealer and find cool salesman. He proceeds to let me know that the closest TB IX with SSL is 2 and 1/2 hours away in Pennsylvania. He actually asks if I wanna go get it and of course I agree. Salesman drives me up to the delaership in crappy new Outlander which they were trading for the EVO. We get lost and finally get there 3 hours later. Car was immaculate but when I go to check the odometer the CEL is on. After blowing a gasket they have a tech pull the code and it ends up being a fouled plug. I guess sitting for two months without being ran will do that. 4 new plugs later my EVO is perfect. The odometer is reading 7 miles. I now have confirmation that I do not have a test drive bandit and its all good. Leave dealership, cool *** salesman let me drive the car back to MD even though we had not signed on the bottom line yet. Unfortunately by the time we get back, the finance department has closed and we are the last in the dealership. I go home with blue ***** and no car. Wake up early Tuesday with a message saying the car has been detailed and is ready for me. Travel to dealership, sign paperwork in a record ten minutes and drive the bad *** beast home. I can't describe how happy I am with my decision and just how badass the car really is. Posting Pics of a stock Black IX is nothing new so here's just one to prove I have it.

Congrats. Explain again why the new Outlander was 'crappy'?

Which PA dealer did you pick it up from? D'ambrosio?

just my personal opinion. It had no options and just didn't really impress me at all. I don't really care for SUV's as it as so that might have had something to do with it. If you have one I was not trying to offend.

No prob, I just feel its an unfair accessment of a decent people mover. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though. Good luck with the new ride!

If you honestly had that good of an experience with a Mitsu dealer, then you should write a book or something man, put it in the guiness records, because 90% of people have had sub-par experiences with the dealer. Myself included.

Congrats on a badass ride.
