5 speed is better for drag and straight line racing, if your into auto-x and road racing the 6 speed would be useful.

The carbon fiber hood, truck, and aftermarket sound system ALWAYS helps complete a "race car."

I'll never understand why people put CF hoods on EVO's... I guess I dont play need for speed enough or something.

wrong the stock six speed has weak/thin 4-6 gears and auto-xing/road racing will reek havoc on those gears and overheat them

the five speed is better all around

c/f hood saves you about half a pound at best...some even weigh more

and WTF would you put an after market sound system in a car you intend to race?

there you go. why would you put unecessary weight if your going to race your car. that's why your going to buy a RS to lessen the weight.

Don't most CF hoods weigh more than the stock aluminum hoods? If you have to have rice do us all a favor and keep your Neon or get a Honda. Just don't ruin an Evo with all your ricer crap.

Another question. Why do you use all those periods between your broken sentences? In the English language one period will sufice.

I don't think that a CF trunk is such a bad idea. The stock lid/wing weigh ~30lbs and a good CF lid is ~12lbs or less. Granted, if one isn't looking to lose the wing, the cost/benefit of such a mod isn't exactly advantageous. I do agree with the overall thrust of your comment.

If you're going to be road racing, I would say the RS would be better since it's a bit lighter than the rest.

There are a lot of track ****** on this forum so you might get better response asking in the roadrace forum.
