Has anybody seen this exhaust on ebay.

I emailed the guy asking him why its so cheap and all and he sent me an email saying how its such a good exhaust and his sold a lot of them with no complaints.... Has anyone ever baught this?

 

Ive got the same exhaust, Fitment could be better, Doesn't sit up as high as i like...Sounds is awesome and was cake to put on. The only downfall is it sits low for my liking. Click me sig to see pics, all the way on the bottom.

 

Well, if he guarantees fitment then you've got nothing to lose. I'm sure if it sounds like crap you can resell it on eBay for the same price. If it doesn't fit, then I'd call up PayPal ASAP.

 

He does have 100% positive feedback..

 

How is the performance. Would you recommend this exhaust? Also is it loud with out the silencer?

 

Why does it have that 90 degree bend in it? From what I remember the turbo back system I put on my 03 was pretty straight.

Also does it have the hole for the 02 sensor?

 

I dont think that is the acctual exhaust because i saw his other pages and there was exhausts for WRX and eclipse and he had the same picture in it. Did you buy your exhaust from him??

 

Maybe thats what it is. No, I got my exhaust from lancershop. The main thing I would want to make sure is that it doesnt have any extra bends which would add restriction. Other than that, it looks like a really good deal.

 

Ya i emailed him asking for a sound clip and also a picture of the actual exhaust for the evo 9 so im waiting on his email. Just hoping it doesnt sound like a rice rocket!!

 

The shipping is another $100. You may want to go with Megan instead which will cost you just a little bit more...

 

I Just installed a full tbe off ebay and the fitment is just fine. I had to bend the muffler brackets to make it sit a little higher. The only down fall is that it is a little loud for my taste.

 

Do you have a link to the one you bought? Also is a 2005 Evo VIII the Same as a 2006 Evo IX in terms of exhaust and fitment? I am looking for a cheapo eBay exhaust, turbo back, for my Evo IX.

 

i have a exhaust from ebay and tell you this much it WORKS.

 

The Company is XO2RACING.COM. Vary fair price for the tbe. I am not to sure if the fitment will be the same on a 06 but i am sure the it is close. The only thing that i did was bend the muffler hangers to have a fittment that i liked. I also wraped the down pipe in fiberglass heat protectent ( I highly recomend ) due to the fact that the dp runs right under the oil pan.

 

Well i checked on evo9parts.com and the Megan was out of stock. Does anyone have sound clips of the Megan exhaust because that was acctualy my first choice. Well the HKS Carbon TI was my first choice but its a little bit out of my range so i went down to Megan because i heard HKS is reallyyy loud.
