if you want a IX (especially a specific model/color combo) buy it ASAP

I looked for a WW RS IX just about everywhere for weeks w/ no luck. I didnt want to settle and new exactly what I wanted but was having a hell of a time locating it; then I finally found what I swear is the last one in the whole damn US and put a down payment on it over the phone so they would hold it for me. Too bad it had to be way over there in CA and now its in transit. Im patiently waiting for my IX, just a few more days!!!!

Ries,
Did you start a thread about tracking your EVO cross country? How are you doing that?

no I didnt start the thread but The dealership gave me a tracking # for the rig thats transporting my IX. At every terminal it checks in & blah blah blah thats how I can track it + they provided me a phone # to the trans co in case I had any questions for them. Anaheim Mitsu in So Cal was great and David was a great & easy salesperson to work w/ just thought Id add that Sorry to get off topic

usually they give good deal on end of the year. but like you said your in the market for a evo IX i think you don't need to wait much longer. Coz dealerships don't have them in stock all the time.if your picky about a certain color.

Dude, you would have scooped my car if I didn't get right when I did!!! I think it was the last ww RS in FL and was the only one I could find, that was 6 weeks ago. I was going to buy an evo next year but I wanted a ww RS ix and there will be no more. Now is the time to get the IX.

And by the way, this car is absolutely amazing!

The closer to the end of the year the better when they are trying to make space for the new inventory. Dec 31st

I have a friend that lives in Gahanna.

You have it slightly better if you're looking for an MR in gray, because that's one of the SE colors, so there should be plenty around.

The best time to buy any car from a dealership is, in order of the best deal:
1) End of the calendar year
2) End of the quarter (March, July, Sept, Dec)
3) End of the month (Or sometime the first day of the month, if the dealer has not yet submitted their sales numbers for the previous month yet.
