I have been reading topics on the board for awhile and thought I would get involved a little more. I live in Burlington, Washington. I use my evo as a daily driver but I also drag race it alot. I am very into drag racing and going to dyno events with it.

Its a 2005 VIII GSR. Car has been as fast as 12.40@109.44 at Mission raceway park. I have been through some ups and downs, but I really love the car so I keep coming back.

My power mods are:
HKS hi power 3’’ cat back
Perrin 3’’ down pipe
Perrin 3’’ cat delete
Megan turbo manifold (had dc sport but it cracked so I got refunded)
Turbo smart Manual Boost Controller
Walbro 255 fuel pump
HP freaks lower ic pipe
ACT Stage 1 clutch and flywheel
K&N drop in filter
Mitsubishi grounding kit
Boost gauge
Short shifter

Not in the motor yet sitting in bedroom: brian crower 280 cams, springs, retainers, and arp head studs. I think I want to sell the brian crower 280's for HKS 280's if they lope harder. I will do reasearch.

Evo IX MR Tail Lights
Vortex generator

Nice. I thought you would pull a faster 1/4 with those mods but I'm still a newbie. What are you using to tune?

 

12.40@109 was done with out the clutch&flywheel, lower ic pipe, or walbro pump.

I have not been able to run since those mods due to track being closed til Feburary where I live.

Im still on stock tune/no flash.

I have not been able to do cam instal yet either.

BTW what cam will lope harder, brian crower 280s or HKS 280s? Seems like from the research I did, its the HKS 280s that will.
