Evo 9 gsr tranny question

Hi all

ive had my evo 9 gsr for about 3-4 weeks now have 800miles on it, and have not driven it hard at all..

the question i have is.... when it is cold out, or the car is not warmed up yet.. it is a little hard to get it into 2nd and 3rd gear mainly 2nd.. it goes in, just not as easy as all the others.. but when it warms up, it is not nearly as bad.

is this normal? is that just the tranny?

when i had my 04 gto, from the first day i bought it, i was a pain to get it to go into first more than half the time.. and i know a few people that have the same prob..

i switched to royal purple syn. fluid and it made it way better..

and again.... i have not driven it hard...

thanks

Chris

My GTi was like that....I tried changing the oils too, but it's just cause it's cold like the others say, I'd have to agree...up here in new england it gets like that a lot...just gotta go with it, for now I guess..
