shifting noise

shifting noise

when i try to shift fast and i dump the cluth it makes this clunking sound . i dont know what it is. the car is broken in and everything.
has this happened to anyone else and if so what was it.

it's normal man... the clunking sound is the rear diff. complaining. Your most likely to hear this if your in 1st going to second and sometimes 2nd going to 3rd. Don't worry too much about it. Just don't dump the clutch from a stand still or your going to be losing your transfercase very soon. (BOOM.)

Happens to me too if i dump it too fast when shifting, feather the clutch a little more and you will be fine
