ok so i posted my thread earlier today that i finally go my tc. well upon putting the car on the lift i saw that the oil cooler was broken apparently by the tow strap that was used to move the car 100 foot.... omg this is like the worst thing ever. so now im out a grand for a tc and have to buy an oil cooler on top of that. anyone know if you can bypass the oil cooler temperarily? or does anyone know where to get a stock one for cheap cuz my budget is like $5 and some pocket lint.. ok so maybe not that bad but i cant afford a $800 HKS or Greddy one. someone please make my day better.

 

Go to Summit or Jegs and order a B&M brand motor oil/tranny cooler. Get one that measures similar or a bit larger.

 

cool. well last night i just bypassed the oil cooler and just ran it back into the oil filter. its driveable for the moment anyway. i will see if i can get one ordered asap tho. thanks for the advice.

 

it may be a few weeks before i am able to get the oil cooler. is running it with the line just recirrculating back to the oil filter ok?
