Whats up! I am a proud new owner of a '06 Evo IX... I love everything about the car except the buying process, so I figured I'd share my story. I bought a '03 Evo VIII with only 18k miles a few months ago from my local dealer (Bill Kent Mitsu) here in Milledgeville GA. They told me it was in perfect shape and still under warrenty, well not even two weeks later it left me on the side of the road! They ended up keeping my car for a total of 2 1/2 months and never could fix it, but they kept telling me it was fine. I'm a GM mechanic and know the difference from fine and f*cked! They got a new Rally Red IX in while mine was in the shop and the owner Bill Kent told me he'd let me trade because of all the problems, but he only gave me half of what I'd spent on it in those 3 months and on top of that he wanted full sticker price! Feeling like I was gonna be stuck with a non drivable VIII, I said ok, but the whole time they treated me like I was the problem and they were doing me a favor even though they sold me the ragged out car! Needless to say I put how I felt on the survey from Mitsu, and the owner actually had the nerve to question me about the survey and even get mad about it and act like he would never warrenty anything on my car! What do u think of that? LOVE my IX, hated the service I recieved!

 

Yikes! That's pretty screwed up. If you do a search you can find a thread with the blacklisted dealers. I recommend adding your's to the list.
