I got an evo!
That's right, im part of the family now. I got the regular evo IX for the 5spd trans, for better times, but got the SE package for those bbs's and HID's i couldn't stand not having. Go to my picasa site to view more photos of the car if you wish.
I'm really excited about the car. I read the whole manual and obeyed the whole 600mi break-in period. For right now, i need to get used to it. It has a lot of power and a crapload of handling capability, so I'm waiting to master that before I do any majore upgrades. It would suck to get ahead of myself and my driving ability when dealing with the power and handling of my car. My last car was a 20th ann. GTI with a TB exhaust, ECU upgrade and other mods. But this is a whole new realm of automobile

Very nice. The whole 5spd thing for better times is a myth. Watch a Best Motoring video the 6spd is significantly faster in the 1/4 and on the track- Every single time. All the GSR's since sometime during the VIII's have the 6spd and the best RS (the MR RS) has it as well.

Be careful at first, things can get out of hand really fast. Just trying to merge onto the freeway you will end up going like 120+MPH

Faster yes Stronger no, Last time I checked only the VIII and IX MR has had the 6 Speed the RS still retains the 5 Speed Ive never heard of the MR RS?
