First of all I'm really new to cars. I just got my turbo back kit.
It came without any instructions. Is it easy to install? Just take out stock and it will fit and install like stock ones?

Also my friend told me my turbo back does not have cat converter and its illegal not to have it. Is it true? im in texas and alabama

Yes, just unbolt the stock and install the new parts. It is illegal to run no cat, and you will toss a CEL, but as long as there are no emmissions testing in texas or whereever the car is regesterd, you will be fine. I live in florida, no emmissions and im not gonna run a cat for sure.

 

What kind of TBE did you get? Some fit better than others..TBE typically have HFCat unless you specify otherwise..

 

there are ways to avoid the check engine light too such as a 02 sensor spacer or getting a tune
