what's the most horepower can you get out of the stock block. Is 600 pushing it.

600 has been done but I wouldn't go past 500...but thats just me..I would go 50trim on the stock block that would put an Evo at mid to low 11's with a 124-126mph.

564 awhp is around the limit which is over 600 to the motor

if u just want a fancy number shoot for 480 whp thats about 600bhp.. and get dynoed on a dynojet with a really high calibration or have them jack it up be4 u actually dyno lol

There are a couple reliable 600 whp Evos running around. Though like many have said, i would stay in the 500's...

It's all relative. I have no doubt the engine could hold 500 AWHP (~600bhp), but many factors would determine how long it would last: tuning, driving characteristics, what kind of gas you use, etc.
