Just wanted to stop in a introduce myself. I picked up my 2006 GG MR last night. Still can't stop smiling!

 

break it in nicely- change the oil at 1,000 miles- and have tons of fun and await the moding bug to strike you!!

 

I got mine last September and I still can't stop smiling. i have to warn you ... after a while, you're face will get stuck that way.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on the car!!! Do you have red stitching on your Rocaros by any chance?

 

No red stitching on the seats. I didn't really care for it. Does that come with a certain package? Thank you all for the welcome. I already have some basic mods planned, but not until I make sure the car doesn't have any bugs etc. (10,000 miles or so)

 

10,000 miles or so? wow... u got some good self control there!! parts were there waiting to be install in my garage after a week of ownership for me...

 

This will be my second run at modding a car. I have learned from past mistakes, so I am going to use a lot more caution with this car.

 

Yeah mine came with the red stitching, a slightly better sound system than standard I think, and a wider front (letting more air to the FMIC) and it was called the "SE" package. For what it's worth, it doesn't really make a difference. But I do like the front of mine. Now if only I can figure out a decent way to afford a JDM import rear. Those are shaweet.

 

There's no difference in the sound system, and there's a new front lip on the SE's; the front clip is the same as any other Evo IX.

 

That makes a lot of sense.
