Air Filter
Air Filter
I was calling store to see if they have any k&n filters in stock. The I was talking to over the phone had an evo and he told me to remove the air duct cover which he said would free up more air and a louder noise he claimed. To me if I removed that cover the intake be suckin in hot air and lose more performance. Let me know if anyone has removed this peice of the stock air intake and let any gains/losses etc. I say just hot air if it is removed
NEVER EVER listen to these store ppl who think they kno about cars. Yes they know a LITTLE about cars but an EVO is totally different. Jus don't even bother. Jus get the drop in k&N filter and leave ur stock intake box.

Personally, I think cold air induction would be better, but....
i've read a thread about this, some people say yea, some people say no, but i personally say no just leave the intake box on, it's ment to be on otherwise the factory would of never put it on there. just my thought
