From Nissan to EVO
Let me just start off by stating how great it feels to be driving an Evo IX. The power, handling, driveability, and most reliability was something I was never able to get from my Nissans. With this car I feel I can finally let go of the "will I be driving the car home" feeling I used to get everything I full throttled it. I've had a turbo 200sx SE-R and just recently lost my beloved Turbo 97 240sx . So fed up with my luck with Nissans...I went with my friend to go test drive one of these bad boys and from the moment I saw the Tarmac black IX I was sold! It was time to go to the
side, Today was my 2nd day of ownership, I bought it with 10 miles on the odometer and ended today with about 212
This ride is truely phenomenal. I can't wait till it's broken in and I'm able to really feel what it can do. Well I look forward to posting here and learning a lot, and trust me i'll be using the infamous SEARCH button first. Take care.

Another SE-R to evo convert (you're the 7th that I know of personally). I'm still trying to find a good home for my turbo SE-R. I did drive it when I went home to visit the 'rents and I do miss the acceleration of it a bit. Of course, roasting the tires in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd got old fast again. Gotta love the AWD of the Evo! Never thought I'd be driving a Mitsu but here I am.
Welcome to the Evo family! Yeah I love my Evo I dont think I'll ever sell it. I put 5k down on mine 5 months in advance before the Evo came to the USA, they did not even know how much it was gonna cost at that time, but blind faith paid off!
and modding my 06 MR also...
But nissan2EVO..good luck with the car...cheers

I've got my '94 TTZ in a garage...100K miles and it was time for a rest. Bought an '05 MR last fall and I love it. Completely different driving experience...as much as I miss cruising in the Z with the tops off, I love being able to drive on the highway in the rain without whiteknuckling it. The AWD on the MR is incredible...can't say enough about that rev-happy little 4-banger. I test-drove an STi about 6 months before I bought the Evo, and I wasn't impressed at all, especially with the ridiculous hood scoop obstructing my view. I didn't even bother thinking about the Evo until my cousin bought an '06 MR, and we went for a drive. It was a completely different animal (love the bilsteins, too), more responsive, a little twitchy (which I like), and very, VERY eager to start eating up the road. I bought mine a few months later. Couldn't be happier.
