BR Stage I or individual pieces?
I have some money to spend thanks to Uncle Sam and I am trying to determine if I should get the whole BR Stage I kit or buy just the BR TBE with a flash. I am kind of hesitant to install a MBC because it seems kind of an in depth installation.
I suppose my questions are:
1. What would be the power differences be between getting the Stage I versus just the TBE with flash?
2. Is installing a MBC that in depth and complicated?
3. Are there just as good staged upgrades out there that cost less? I know that Buschur Racing is known for their great products and that they are tried and trued, but I also know that there are other companies that offer similar upgrades but cost a little less. For example Vishnu and Gruppe. I am just trying to get the best bang for my buck!
Thanks for your input.

Eeesh... everyone is gonna tell you to "search"
1. It all depends on the mods and who's doing your tuning. BR's stage 1 is a good blue print to follow though and power should be close.
2. Should be able to do it if you have basic mechanic skills... or you can always pay someone =P
3. Everyone likes certain products for certain reasons. You'll need to decided what you like/need and which companies can accomodate that.

The difference between a stock Evo and our Stage 1 is honestly night and day. I would recommend the complete stage 1 instead of just the exhaust and flash. The intake and MBC are definately good "extras" to have. I would also recommend throwing in a walbro fuel pump as well. It will allow you to run a little more boost.
The installation of the MBC is pretty simple and straight forward. Its not hard to do at all.
If you have any other questions feel free to ask. I'll be glad to help you out.
