ok, the trunk is dynamated, so that weight that really dont need, my car is an RS i really dont care about road sound. so how hard is it to take that stuff off??????

Hard choice. I've got a GSR so I have the wing, but somedays I hate it so I went ahead and bought an RS trunk. I went wingless for a while before getting the trunk to try it out and I really liked the look. But sometimes I missed the wing. So for now I just swap trunks. It's really up to you but what it comes down to is this. Wing=more attention(not sure if that's good or bad to you) No Wing=much much less attention

The wing has its purposes or they wouldn't put it on the car.. I like the wing personally and find the wingless route odd.. but people are diff so *shrugs*
If you are going to do events, keep it... if you're going just drive around town and stuff.. then you don't need it.

 

Well there is really no purpose for it, unless it's track, it gives you so little.... Probably 1 psi less on the right tire than left makes more difference in drivability than the wing

But like someone's signature says "Evo is not an Evo without a wing"...I'd go for a wing

Many had that problem, includeing me..... Took me about 3 hours and that sucker looked like new.

regaurdless what u do u are goin to think "what if" on the other .. go for the trade then u have the spoiler for free .. i was lookin threw a mag the other day n they had a red VIII with the carbon fiber hood and trunk with a carbon fiber lip spoiler on the lid it looked pretty sweet set it off jus enough but still not a huge attention getter

 

take it, the downforce you gain at high speeds helps a lot

 

IMO evos looks better with the wing. Get the wing on

 

with no wing your "flightless" evo will have little downforce on the rear tires, at high speed that means no grip, thats BAD

i had gsr now i have a rs .i really cant say i got less attantion.only if somebody following you ...
so after abouth a month i got the wing . now i got a RS with a wing.
i would say wing . Besides more race looking it is functional.
i like it.and then get an Ebay vortex generator $60 with S&H...looks perfect!
