Is anyone familiar with Work Exhaust for the evo? I found one for sale for pretty cheap and would just like to know if this is a good exhaust to get and if it sounds good. I don't want anything too loud.

 

If you're talking about the Works exhaust in the classifieds, it doesn't have a muffler; it's basically a straight pipe and it's loud. I run a Works ABM muffler and it sounds great to me, but I have no idea whether it'll sound good to you.

It (ie. mine) isn't much louder than stock, which makes me happy, but I don't feel comfortable transposing the same preference on to you. Basically, you need to delineate what you're looking for and what "sounds good" means to you. One thing I can say for sure: the fit and finish is superb. Which Works exhaust are you considering?

 

WORKS products are top notch. The fit and finish along with the customer service is outstanding but it is pricey. I'm personally going with the WORKS 76mm intermediate pipe with the stealthworks axle-back to maintain the stock look of my Evo.
