Engine Life/Mileage - How far with big power-
This depends on many variables. Driver behavior and conditions (road racing or just daily driving?), the amount of power the motor is making, the strength and material of the internals, the competence of the engine builder, how conservative the tune is, proper maintenance, etc. Its impossible to predict precisely how long any engine will live.

well here's a hint of what happens when you race. I first changed all my diff fluids at 30k. After a season of auto-x, my diff fluids were darker with waaay less mileage (I think about 5k) with the season of racing. So engine life really depends on maintenance. If you bake your fluids and don't change them, then your engine dies. Heat is a killer of fluids.
Not sure about BIG power but there is a guy close to the east coast running a 2003 Evo VIII with cams/ tune and has over 160,000 miles on the odo. Apparently he hasn't had a problem yet. Just sticks to the regular service intervals.
Im a Smog Tech here in cali and i can actually tell whether the car had proper maintenence on it just by looking at the numbers because some cars were still fairly new but cuz they skipped this or that and poorly maintained the car it would fail due to high hc or co and some cars were junky as hell and was amazed at how clean the numbers came out... so all in all MAINTAIN ur vehicle and u should be fine
