hey guys i'm new to the evo world but not the car world. I bought my evo8 off someone about 2 months ago, the car is already worked on and i absolutely love it. However sometime last week i threw a c.e.l., and at the same time i've been having some issues. I dont know the cause of the light, but this is what i've been experiencing. At about 4k rpm in 3rd and 4th gear, the b.o.v starts to flutter, and basically does not let my car reach higher rpms. I just recently replaced the hose coming from the b.o.v. to the engine block (the one that runs up past the radiator hose) because the one that was on there was clogged or sealed shut from the heat of the other hose. It's running better, but still the light and still the restriction at higher rpm's. This is my first boosted car so i'm still learning the ropes about turbos and b.o.v.s and how everything works. anybody have any suggestions as to what might be going on?
