I just bought an evo 8 and it has an HKS intake, whats the symptons of a new intake without a flash? The turbo doesnt feel like its building pressure and I havent done a boos tleak test yet but I doubt it

 

Well the intake is before the turbo so it has nothing to do with a boost leak. You will just have stalling and idling issues without a tune. Nothing major.

 

No major problems man.. just chill out and enjoy it.. if our serious about it.. continue modding with bolt ons.. and then tune..

 

With The Intake Your Turbo Spools Quicker, Your Taking More Air In Also. When You Get It Tuned You Should Be Gtg

 

i wouldnt worry about it but you could get a mode 1 flash from jestr for 52$ and youll get some more power

 

you don't have to worry about a flash for an intake. The intake will not harm your car's performance. However if you are thinking about modding, then I suggest you do some more bolt ons and get a tune and you will make really good power.
