If you were driving a Honda, Toyota, or an expensive saden, the EVO ride is considerably harsher. But the performance you get should totally offset the noise problem. After all, you bought a four door rallycar. Not a Lexus.

The car is definitely noiser. You will feel every bump and it will bump steer at times. It doesn't sound like your car is any different than most of our cars. My friend just bought a new EVO and he drove from DC to NYC and back and did nothing but complain how harsh and noise the car was. But then again the last car he drove was a Camry. Enjoy your new car and mod away!

I like how my suspension almost breaks my back after every joy ride. IMO the sound of an evo is awesome. <--- (this from a guy who thought vtec engaging was ecstasy )

If you are in Mexico city, we can compare but no worry, it's a noisy car....
