Summer Tires...

Hey guys,

I did some research using the search feature on evoM and didn't really find a strong answer on the best tires for the summer. The only tires I've used so far in the summer were the stock Advans...and I loved them. I switched over to snow tires (Toyo Observes) and my car handles like ***, im looking to switch over to summer tires soon and was wondering what tires are even better than the stock advans...I dont really have a budget, so if you could please post the name of the tire, and a picture and link if possible.

Thanks a lot!

1. there is a tire, brake, and wheel section and you have posted this there...but

2. depends on what size you need

Falken Azeni RT-615s are excellent summer tires but they don't come in all popular size (ex. - 255/35/18)

I just purchased Yokohama AVS ES100 tires from tirerack and they have good rating as well as good statistics...so I decided to give them a shot

The BFG KDW's on my SRT were awesome. Try some of those. Get the KDW 2s.

I'm trying the Advan Sports this time around.

I read the TireRack review instead of just looking at the graph. I dont understand why Tirerack put the RE-01R on top of the Advan when they admit that the Advan had the best dry and wet traction tested. They gave the RE-01R a higher score because it had less road noise???? These are max performance summer tires.. is road noise or traction more important. I think traction, so the Advans win.
