Rear brakes not even!!! help!!!!

I washed my car today and noticed that my rear driver side brakes produced more dust than the rear passenger side. I took both rear wheels off and see the pads...the rear driver side is more wore out than the other side. (I have hawks pad) I just changed them couple months ago. I bought my 05 evo8 last october 06 w/ 33000 miles. im on 41000miles now. Does this mean the rear driver side brakes harder than my rear passenger side? how would i fixed this???? how would i make sure that they are even when braking?????

Not really sure but you should check your brake fluid for level and air in the lines.

i checked that too. Is it possible that the rear driver side "brakes harder than my left" ? or could it be the hawk pads? but i changed the front and rear at the same time too.....

EVO's have EBD. Applys brake pressure where it is needed. So braking from side to side my vary. I would bleed all the lines out thoughly and see how it is after that

well i dk, shouldnt be anything more than air in the lines or maybe the dust boots and the piston seals need replacing on your brakes... BUT technically, i'm not sure exactly how it all works but your car does have electronic braking distribution so if the car is reading a certian steering angle and lateral g force then it would send more power to one side compared to the other... so i've never really heard of it before, but you could have a malfunctioning ebd system? That is all just hypothetical though, i've never heard of that happening but the evo does have braking distribution...

I noticed the same thing on My second Evo. Just be carefull when you bleed the brakes not to get any of the fluid on the calipers it will eat the paint off big time. I suggest using one of the kits with the clear tubes.

you should not need to bleed your brakes unless you have opened a line somewhere in the system.

usually if you have uneven brake wear it is because of a sticking slider, a collapsed brake hose, or a stuck caliper.

when you changed the pads did you grease the sliders?
