Any mitsu part expert guy in here..?

Anyways do all evos use the same MAF or has it change throught the years.. also does it affect your car if your MAF honeycomb thing gets jacked up.. and by chance we use the same thorught the whole years.. anybody got one thxs..

anybody got an answer to this.. i found a totalled evo 8 2003 and his maf is in top notch shape as he got rear ended and b4 i buy it.. i wanna make sure it will work with my IX as my honeycomb in the MAF got a phillips pirced thorugh it.. i was doing intake work and set the MAF down and a phillips fell on it.. a messed by honey comb up..

 

Im pretty sure they are the same. Go for it, shouldn't be too big of a hit even if it doesn't fit.

 

they are the same. you can also switch just honeycomb, although its a bit tricky to pry up the plastic cover without breaking it. it is attatched with glue.

 

Yup.. i was able to scoop one up with a 5 finger discount.. thxs.. my friend in jersey works at mitsu and some Repo- EVO.. came in a he needed to trouble shoot it cuz his a technician and he said the MAF was toast and needed a new one.. anyways the new one came in but didn't make it to the car.. but it did to the POST OFFICE.. thank you for clarifying out.. this helped alot as i didn't wanna buy a damn new one..

also does a messed up honeycomb mess up things..?
