Hello everyone!

My name is Chris and I live in stratford, CT. I currently drive a nicely modded 04 wrx but am very very interested in a 2003 evo VIII, I work for subaru stamford as a technician. Thank you for having such a well put together site for all sorts of evo enthusiaists. I hope in the future I can provide some tech assistance to anyone.

why you making the switch?

 

i have been modding my suby and my friends subies for the past 2 years and I guess i just wanted a change......plus they wanted way to much for a 2004 used STi and i flippin work there....sorry!!!.....i dont want to get banned already. To be honest i really like the car. I hope I find one soon.

 

Welcome to the boards and hopefully you make the switch soon. The evo is a legend on the streets IMO.

i need some help, i need to know what common problems these cars have, leaks?, mil codes?, electrical?, rust or body corrosion......any help would be much appreciated. i only ask cuz i found a 03 tarmac black 29,000 miles for a good price and i want to go look at it and knowing what to look for would help this purchase. Thanks.
