According to your sig you already have a Tial BOV. Recirculate that thing and you've got one of the best.

Tial BOV cannot be recirculated. I feel that HKS and Tial are the best BOV's on the market. SSQV's can be recirculated, so think about that when you're purchasing. I have heard plenty of good things about Type-S, but I have also heard plenty of bad things. Conversely, I have never heard anything bad about Tial or SSQV. For what it's worth, the Tial can hold up to and over 80psi. I'm not sure on the numbers for SSQV's, but I'm sure they're up there. There's a reason 900whp Supras use them...

Type S is 26 PSI, I personally have had no issues with mine.

when you dont recirculate, you cause a rich condition as the MAF is reading more air than is actually making it to your combustion chamber. thus causing the motor to dump more fuel, hence the rich condition between shift and decelleration. the reason Supras and Skylines use SSQV and VTA BOV;s is because they run off of Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensors, and compensate for the dump of air to atmosphere. Thsi will not work on an Evo and by VTA you are essentially back-pedaling and most likely losing power between shift. thats not even getting into compressor surge...

Type s is fine. Sounds good, and mine held 25-30psi.

but i wouldnt ask any questions about BOV's on this forum. Alot of useless and bias info on here.

Its pretty simple...anything over 25 ish or so psi...Tial or HKS SS....and anything over 40psi ....Tial or HKS Racing...and at this level it will take 2 of the mentioned to be efficient. The rest leak after a certain amount of boost. Too many people buy a BOV for "its cool sound"...but they should be bought for function and ones that dont leak.

And Shotgunfacelift.....Your Supra comment is incorrect. The HKS SS works PERFECT on mass air Supras and Map sensor supras at high Hp levels. The HKS SS is one of the best proven Bovs out there.
