hey guys i have been looking at car mod guides from the shelves and really trying to find parts but i havent been able to find any. first off i am a big time novice so if it doesnt say, mitsu lancer on it i question if it will fit. my budget only allows for good gains, i dont want to risk any losses. i am running a ford escort 89 now, but i am going to the auto auction and pickin up my lancer this week. so if you know of any tips to help me out on how to know if something will actually fit the car or not please let me know. or any websites cause i will search but i find the same stuff. is it universal? stuff i am looking for

exhaust (but how do you know how it will sound?)
intake (cold air)
wings
ground kits
ground effects
rims (i see a lot at places but tirerack.com is the only place where a person can actually view the rims on the vehicle.)
hardcore other stuff (that i havent thought of)
whats a sway bar? same as a strut but in the rear?

mostly their bolt on so if you can take a bolt or two off you can mod your lancer just fine and as fora guide surf around this site you'll find a billion and one how to's evolutionm shopper is agood place to start and e-bay but check here first on the e-bay thing if your unsure.

as for tirerack find the rims you like their and ask for them someplace else i found them to be a bit pricey

and your sway and strut bar tighten's your body roll makes cornering abit easier. which is good.

but do the parts for the evos fit the lancer oz rallies and the es and ls's? are those universal cause i cant really see a tremedous physical difference between the oz rally and the evo. but obviously there is a lot under the hood different. has to beright? sorry for posting here, thought it belonged here....noob syndrome....... thanx guys
