HID getting foggy

HID getting foggy

i have a 9 MR and my hid lenz is getting foggy is this something that mitsu will do under warranty?

ive checked with 3 of my friends rides and theirs is like 03' and 05 s

and still dont do it. mine is waaaaay newer but hid is foggy is that normal?
anyone else have that problem?

like is there moisture inside it?
if theres moisture inside the headlamp, it will be covered under warranty

Mine has the moisture build up too.. My headlights are the standard halogen but i put an aftermarket HID kit on it.. will this affect the warranty???

it seems that theres no moisture but there are streaks on the lenz.

kinda like a haze. watermark if you wanna call it.

I have a IX SE and my taillights are fogging inside the blinker. I called mitsu and they're replacing them.

Mine gets foggy if the car sits for more then a few weeks. I just turn the hi-beams on for a few minutes after starting the car to solve the problem.

no its not the housing thats gettin foggy its the HID lenz it self.

well i cant really say its foggy since i have not seen th emoisture.

its dirty with water marks... kinda like if you would run dirty water over it and let it dry.

My Lancer did the same thing when I changed out the stock headlights. My friend told me the aftermarkets I bought didn't seal correctly against the frame so I was getting moisture. You might want to give them a check. As far as warranty, I know here in Dirty Jersey, the dealers are @&*!s when it comes to aftermarket parts. Mine won't even touch 'em. Sucks to be me I know.
