anybody know where i can get a set????? mainly for road course wanting to shedd some weight ........ i know seibon has some carbon fiber ones but really wasn't looking to spend 4000 on doors any info would help

Go to a driving school instead, you'll pick up more from that =)

 

I can't see them weighing that much lighter then our current doors. I would say you would be better off doing something else in terms of dollar/performance gain.

Seibon makes a set of CF doors if you're interested in that.

 

yeah i pretty much wanted to see some of the prices compared to the carbon ones, and driving school would benefit alot but of course your power to weight ratio could only benifit your performance on the track. and know i dont want to add more power to the car i am very content around 400 hp and spool like a super charger so more power is not in the near future.

he never got it because of responses like "go to a driving school" wtf is that

anyway the only fiberglass doors youll find will be in japan go check out bulletproofautomotive just to get an idea then ask a few vendors
i know jondemand carries the jspeed ones theyre somewhat pricey at 1000 a pair
but much cheaper than seibon
its what the cyber evo runs

As far as the weight of the doors...I think you better think again if you think that the FG and stock shells will weight the same.

 

Will you lose a considerable amount of weight with them? I can't imagine the stockers weighing that much...but i have not seen anything like that in the USA.
