New to Evo world, some questions..

Well Ive been a Fbody Enthusiast for years, mostly 4th gens LT1/LS1 & Stangs, owned several, raced them etc....Liked the Evo's since the've come out and think its going to be my next car...Now I know reflash's help these cars bigtime, so Im thinking a reflash,K&N drop in and a catback will be my first mods...any advice from the experienced would be helpful...this is what im thinking. Now im not so savy on turbo setups so the simpler you can make it the better...thx

Dynoflash.com tune

Your on the right track. You may want to consider a MBC (manual boost controller) to help keep the boost consistent.

What year EVO are you looking at?

if your talking about a evo 9, then that isn't a bad start, i would just add a boost controller!

Welcome dude! I came from a Cobra and a Lightning so I know how different these cars can be than what you are used to. If you just want the basic mods to wake the car up, go with the Buschur/Warrtalon stage 1 package. It is a very good bang-for-your-buck package, and should wake the car up considerably. I am actually installing mine finally this weekend and then I plan on bringing the car to Al (dynoflash) to get the tune for the BR/WT S1 package.

Catback is fine, but a Full TBE would do wonders and a MBC as suggested already would help. MBC is only like $80 to $120.

Yea I know the turbo-back would add more, well see if I could swing it when im ready...Good info on the MBC, Ill look into it. As far as what evo im not sure whatever's on the lot that catch's my eye when im ready i suppose. I know the newer ones have a few more hp but there a little pricey
