newb questions!

Sup guys! I have been reading the forums for sometime. Right now its a toss up between an STI or a Evo.I love the looks of the evo, but i hear the tranny sucks! I want to know if next year (December right before 08) would i still be able to get a evo 9 from the dealer or because of the evo 10 they would force me to get a used one? I really want to get a evo 9 as im not to fond of the 10 and buying a used evo that could have been beaten to hell doesnt intrest me. Thanks guys!

The tranny doesn't suck the people who break them do. The STI trannys also break if you try doing repeated 6k clutch drops on them.

tranny is fine but get little cruchy feeling and grinds. Change tranny fluid to syncromesh, feels so smooth cruchy feeling is gone but still get grind time to time. Feels like driving different car
