i am about to do the drivetrain service, but have no idea how many quarts / liters will be needed??? can someone help me out.

I dont' know about the manual for the VIII's but my IX manual had fluid capacities for everything if I remember correctly. It was near the back somewhere, I remember looking for that info when I was doing my oil change for the first time. The capacities were in Liters/Quarts

 

How many miles do you have?

Well i have 20,000 miles on it and yes it will be the first time.
