Buschur DP and the regular Ebay SS o2 housing, which you can also get at BR. We don't have specific O2s for specific models...they all fit the same...but the DP is important, and the Buschur will fit your IX beautifully.

tomei or hks kansai has some nice downpipes. tomei also has an o2 housing which you can buy as a combo with the dp.

That sure is some expensive stuff to recommend.

This is a great recommendation, I have the exact same set up. The Helix v2 downpipe also fits very well and is only $200 shipped from Gruppe-S, but they might still be on backorder. On a side note you should consider heatwrapping your downpipe and ceramic coating your o2 housing.

I would recommed the Works dp for your Evo IX.

In my experience, the buschur unit does not fit well at all. At least it didn't on my car. I replaced it with the Works pipe, which worked and fit perfectly. High quality piece!

There's no way for the BR DP not to fit - it's a perfect fit, because it comes with tie bar spacers - unless maybe you had an old-style used one from 03. The Works may fit, but it's way too expensive for what you get.

Warrtalon:

I bought my car in November of 2005, and I purchased (from br) & had the buschur exhaust installed shortly thereafter. I don't know about old or new- it fit poorly- that is all that mattered to me.

Do not tell me that there is no way for a BR DP not to fit. IT DID NOT FIT PROPERLY. I replaced it with what, in my opinion, was a higher quality piece.

Incidently, how expensive the works pipe is relative to "what you get", is subjective. It may just be too expensive for you. For myself, I replaced a lower quality part for a higher quality part; the extra expense was worth it.

Please make an effort to provide a distinction between your opinion and what you believe is factual; often they are exclusive of one another. Anytime you tout your sponser's parts while badmouthing another vendor's parts you lose credibility.
