I wouldn't bet on Mitsu, they don't necessary make their car better over time.

Haha, the problem is that I started to budget last summer for the VIII, then times changed, and I can now afford the IX, I'm like 80/20 toward the IX, just wanted to really see what people thought who have encountered both. This has been very helpful.

OR a WW IX, 11,000 miles, tinted windows, 3M, SSL w/ HIDs from an unknown which I've been emailing, says he broke it properly, treats it like a baby, selling to get more money for a house, for 27500, probably $27K, no aftermarket to engine or exhaust. Is the extra money worth it for MIVEC and SSL?? I'm leaning toward the IX, but please tell me what you think, and I'd appreciate non-smarta$$ answers please, thank you!

PS-I'm test driving both this weekend...
Go whith the IX.

Resale value difference between 3 years will make up for the extra money.

go with the IX.

I would say keep looking for a IX w/o SSL, but it wont get much cheaper.

You could always swap SSL interior for stock plus cash and you'll be much happier with the 9.

You'll waste your time and money upgrading the 8 to have 9 parts anyway

If you are leaning 80-20 towards the IX, then you are 20% wrong.
