Is there any difference in length?

After the replies I got here on another thread as well as some reading I've done over the net, I've decided to re-install my factory re-circulating blow off valve back into my Evo rather than use the aftermarket one that "dumps into the atmosphere" and wondered if it made any significant difference in the length of hose I use to run from the "output" side of the blow off valve to where it recirculates back into the plumbing? I've attached a sketch below to show 2 different setups to explain what I mean. Setup 1 shows the blow-off basically dumping right back in without much travel (like from the factory), but setup 2 uses a little longer hose. Would setup 2 pose any issues? Sorry for the noob question

I prefer setup number 1 because it has a shorter, straight, dump path.

Thanks guys...I appreciate the feedback. I had to re-install my factory BOV and thought I would have had to go by "Setup 2" but I was able to find the tubing to set it up like factory which is like "Setup1"
