the bov turn either counter clock wise or clock wise for a hard or soft setting, should i play around with the setting

that really shouldn't effect the discharge, only wen under hard boost the setting will help it from dischargeing, but wen letting off the gas it should discharge no matter wat.....so from wen it was last working for you, you havn't touched anything on your car?

hey dude, my turbosmart just crapped out on me in the middle of winter.. i think i killed it.. it doesnt woosh anymore.. just flutters slightly.. i could only assume the port isnt opening to the atmosphere.. but when the weather finally gets nicer im putting the stocker back in

have you cleaned it lately? I think I know what your talking about. Take it apart and clean it. After that, I lubed up the piston and put it back together. reInstalled and worked perfect again.

LOL i have the same bov, you need oil it. did this happen after you washed the car? because water gets in through the hood vent, and ends up in the discharge vent. dry that out after you wash your car.

J/K.....I would take it off and try to move it with your fingers to make sure its not seized. Maybe it needs a quick shot of the old WD-40.
