Should I???

Hi all, I just got a quick question regarding wether or not I should get a new MR. The question keeps running through my head. I currently have a 03 Evo and have been thinking about selling it or trading it in. It has around 64000 miles on it. She still runs great but I just sort of want something new. Does anyone know has much longer 06's will be available? I'd like to hear some feedback...thanks!!!

I'm really happy with my 06 MR, the payments are the only thing that suck.

just keep ur car, its not to much different then an 06 mivec evo, chances are ur car is almost paid off and let the modding begin, yesss mivec is cool and is more mod friendly to basic bolt-ons , but thats nothing a gt35r cant handle!!

I would suggest a SE...kinda like the MR but it's 5-speed. Maybe you're sick of the 5-speed...so them go with the MR. MR's do make good daily drivers though.

Not much different, just a Better engine, Better Turbo, and Better suspension.

I think I heard where there were like 650 in the usa right now. And the 06 MR is way different than the 03 Evo. More power....and "other" goodies too, if you want it then go for it....I would say the 06 MR will get you better gains if you mod it than your 03 Evo will...I luv my 06 RR MR......

I'd take the money you save from NOT buying the new car, and mod the 03.

Ya, I am happy with my 8. I would like to have the 9 SE seats and steering wheel, but everything else will be modified at some point so the stock parts dont mean that much to most. Ultimatley its your choice if your happy with the car you are driving or feel the need for the higher payments?

Just keep it. Chances are it's almost paid off for. Try getting a new platform to work on like have an awd car and an rwd car like a s2000,rx7, or a 240sx.

Yeah, I almost traded in my '03 for an '06 but then I thought about the increased payments and the longer time I would be paying on it and decided against it.

I have to agree. There is no way at this stage of the game I would get rid of my 03 and buy a IX. IXs are great and way better than the 03 stock for stock. Even if the 03 is mildly modded. But with what I owe now, what I have in, and how much I love it. Ill wait till the motor lets go and its stroker time.

Plus to be totaly honest Id rather not have the ACD. Just a good front LSD and Im set
